Okay, this will be a really short and boring post, because I just wanna get all these thoughts out of my head as quickly as I can without giving any thought to how good my writing is. Tonight, Karla generously treated Block XX to some much-needed bonding time, in celebration of her birthday! We finally got to see Avengers!!! I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint. Ever since the movie hit cinemas this Wednesday, people have been talking about it nonstop. Especially on Facebook, where you can see everyone posting something to the effect of "AVENGERS OMG HNNNNG." I am not joking. Three of my friends said exactly that.  The last time I've ever seen a movie that *titillated* the Internet (and the real world) like that is, I think, when the last Harry Potter came out. Personally I didn't see it as that much of a big deal, since my love for Harry has, sadly, waned in the gaps between movie releases. But it meant truckloads to everyone, apparently. ...

Quick post, since I've got a quiz to study for that's five chapters long. I've been watching a lot of films lately that I've actually been able to sit through. I must add that this is quite an accomplishment for me, since I've never really been able to finish films. Sometimes I space out and miss some important bit of story. Sometimes I just get bored and stop watching. I know, I suck. Here is a sideways tomato for you to throw at me. {( ) But hey. I think I have improved my attention span since. In the past fourteen days, for instance, I've seen The Motorcycle Diaries, Pokemon the First Movie (which I cried at yet again), Spirited Away, and Quiet City. Okay so that's not a lot. Gah. Goodness. Why do I always get the urge to write at the most inconvenient of times? (Tonight's answer: I just wanna put off reading the Sociology and Anthropology handouts.) When I say "mildly interesting" I mean that the only parts I paid attention to were the parts with actual animals and colorful plants. I think two-year-olds have longer attention spans than I do.
