first few days of school

Image
Man oh man it's been six days since my last update, which wasn't even a real update. Anyway check out these pictures that I totally neglected to upload! Look at that. Look at all those awesome pins I collected from the events I went to! They're from the Health Sci Society, Loyola Film Circle, Gabay, and the SOSE Sanggu. Sad thing is, apparently I forgot to take them down from the inside of my old closet in Room 202 when I moved into Room 2-I. Now that closet is gone, and so are my precious pins. *sigh of acceptance of loss* Okay, now look at this! It's a guitar pick which I so happily and passionately cut out from my old PMSA membership card (thanks for kicking me out of the org, yo). I drew Jules on it and gave it to him for his 18th birthday!  Speaking of birthdays! Meet the choir (sans Vera) that sang during Pat's surprise 18th birthday lunch. Awesome photo by the awesome Andy Europa.  Also speaking of birthdays! Look at this other awesome photo by Andy -

updating just for the sake of updating

What am I doing still up at 1:38 AM on a Sunday night? Watching videos of chinchillas on YouTube, that's what. Chinchillas rock. I've got a lot of things to write about so I definitely do not have a shortage of stories to tell right now. However, I am running quite low on brain capacity, so I think it would be wisest to tell you these stories another time (maybe later on, before I study for Chemistry, because whenever I have better things to do than blogging, I blog). Sooooooo in the meantime here is an animated GIF I made of... er, [some Asian dude] cosplaying as Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction. Supposedly a wind is blowing into his tux but I don't know why his hair isn't moving, or his pants, for that matter. He is definitely saying "I love Richie," and not some line that Sammy J is so famous for saying. Night!

hong kong and freshmen

Prat Avenue. Our hotel was right across the lingerie bar that didn't make it to this photo. Just got back from Hong Kong. Woohoo! It was the first time I've ever actually been anywhere outside the Philippines, and what an awesome first time it was. I don't wanna go into the details right now, because a lot of what happened was stuff I doubt you'd be interested in (but if you are interested in hearing all these familial inside jokes that were only funny because we were delusional from the lack of sleep and all the walking, do get in touch and I can recommend a good psychiatrist for you). Sooooo no, this won't be a how-to-survive-Hong-Kong-without-a-tour-guide kind of post. It will, in part, be a hey-look-at-these-pretentious-and-hipsterish-pictures-I-took post. (click to enlarge the pretention) I call them pretentious because they're pictures that pretend to actually mean something when all they are are just... badly taken pictures (except for the one wit

1:47 AM. My body clock has conked out and probably my grammar and coherence are gone as well. Maybe this is why majority of my blog posts are strange and nonsensical - because they were written at one in the morning. Does this make me a morning person now? Lolsies! (Kidding. I never say losies. Ever. I swear. Please believe me. Please. Please?) All lameness aside, so much has happened since I last updated. I'll get to the important bits in a while. What have I been up to this summer? I think my brother's Facebook status sums it all up: (sad kind) yay Yeah. I suck. As a sibling, I mean, not as a tetris player, because I'm doing all right at least in that one bit of my life (or lack thereof). I'm sorry, Jigs and Cait. I really should get off the Internet. It's a good thing that aside from playing Tetris Battle on Facebook all day (<--- don't worry, this post doesn't get any sadder than this), I've been working on finishing this bucketlist of films th
