post V-day blogging II

Econ test tomorrow, doing nothing today. Ehh screw it. My teacher's not gonna give me a good score anyway. So here I am, blogging~ Here's a little recap of the week: Tuesday I thought I had prepared really well for the Statistics exam. But... no. u_u Also, Rap got me a nice edible flower for Valentine's. n_n It's still here, just slightly nibbled on because I wish to preserve it. Andy got all the girls in Bio class (even our teacher, Ma'am Canlas) a nice, long-stemmed rose. Aww. I used to think that Valentine's Day was stupid, and that if you really loved somebody, you would show it to them every day of the year as opposed to every Feb 14. But on this day, all around the campus you could see all sorts of grand gestures of love - public serenades (there was even one that I actually participated in ahihihihi. You're welcome, Karl.), giant bouquets, boys dressed in suits and girls wearing pretty dresses. While seeing them doesn't actually make me f

NSTP

You won't believe what happened to me yesterday. Halfway to Bagong Silang, for NSTP, our jeep started making a weird, sputtery noise - the kind that healthy jeeps are not supposed to make. We pulled over somewhere next to an open field, and our driver went down to investigate what the problem was. He popped open the hood of the jeep and, to our surprise (and delight, and horror), he pulled out a little cat, mewling and appearing relatively unharmed by its short trip under the hood. Instead of releasing the kitty into the field we had stopped at, we let it stay with us the rest of the trip. Hours later, after our insertion, we found the kitty sleeping peacefully underneath the seats. We left it in its state of cat-slumber. About twenty minutes into the trip, however, we decided we were too hungry. So we pulled the jeep over, popped open the hood, and using the hot machinery, made ourselves a nice kitty meal. Just kidding. That never happened. I just needed an interesting first par

Blogging again to maximize the remaining time I have with the awesome wi-fi here at home. I'm going back to Manila tomorrow. I'm gonna wake up at four in the morning and endure an hour-twenty-minute flight, hopefully arriving just in time for my swimming class at 10. Let me seeeee, what else. I have Economics homework I haven't done, a Statistics exam on Thursday, and then German and Biology exams on Friday. Why have I not done any work this weekend? Oh, right. Because I am a lazy bum. Oh well. I'd been excited to see this exhibit called Dinosaurs Alive! ever since I heard about it in December, but I was bummed to find out that I wouldn't be around when they came to CDO. Two months later and surprise surprise, the weekend of the show happens to be a long holiday for Ateneo! Woohoo! Today, my parents said that we wouldn't be going to the show because so many people said it sucked. But I forced  coerced my family into going anyway, just for the heck of i

girliness and posting late

Tomorrow it will be exactly a month since my last entry. I think this is the longest I've gone without writing. That's just out of pure laziness; I have not been busy. Apologies to the multitude of people who read my blog. Here's a new entry to appease the two of you. It's 1 AM and I'm at home (as in home home, not in the dorm) browsing through girly blogs. A visit to  www.pusheen.com  became a trip to this adorable online store . And when I had finished browsing through everything there, I remembered how mesmerized I was by Tricia Gosingtian 's fantastically female posts and I paid her site a visit. So much girly. My theory about girly-girls is that some are simply born beautiful. That some girls just emerged from the womb with a full set of clean, polished nails and lush, permed hair. That when led blindfolded into a closet, they will be able to sniff out the trendy clothes and leave the more "unbecoming" pieces untouched. I am not one of th
