The results for the scholarship deliberations are out. My scholarship has been denied. Don't know what to do, but I know I just want to eat McFlurries and lie in bed and watch cat videos and not think about the future. 

        My one and only laptop is this 6-year-old Acer that I named Lappy. Lappy was given to me by my parents as a gift for graduating high school. So yeah, she/he/it's really old, well past her glory days. The motherboard, battery, charger, and keyboard have all been replaced at least once. Plugging a device into one of the USB ports causes the laptop to short circuit and lose power. The (new) battery charges only up to 53% despite being plugged in for long. And now, most recently, the built-in wi-fi adaptor has stopped working.         So today, because I was bored, I went out and bought a USB wi-fi adaptor. But in my haste to get back on the Internet, I accidentally plugged the adaptor into the wonky USB port. My laptop immediately turned off, and wouldn't boot up after several attempts.         It took many tries before my dear Lappy finally regained consciousness. She's a fighter, this Lappy.
