graduation stuff
For a while, I'd been fretting about where to eat after graduation, considering that my family will be flying in from CDO. I wanted to go somewhere unique. Sambokojin (in Eastwood) seemed like a good choice because they had a promo where graduates could eat for free. They were hard to book for dinner though, so we decided to go there for a graduation lunch buffet.
It was the first large-scale buffet that my family has ever been to (except me and my mom).
Dessert is always my favorite part of the meal.
(Note: I'm not a marshmallow fan unless it's smothered in chocolate.)
The aftermath:
We taxi'd back to my condo after that to have a nice noontime nap before the tiring graduation ceremony. Imagine cramming five people into my tiny tiny bedroom. Sadly, no pictures were taken.
On to the grad ceremony:
In summation, the process was lengthy, at times emotional, but always super freaking hot. The whole high school covered courts was filled with people. It was a sea of perspiration.
But it was a fitting end to an amazing journey. Thank you, Ateneo. I'm proud to call you home.
Of course thank you, mom, and dad, for not just allowing me to come to Ateneo in the first place, but for encouraging me to do it. You pushed me past my comfort zone and helped me to see that I really can achieve great things. I'm so blessed to have you two. (Thanks also for pointing out typos and spelling errors in my blogs!)
Love you, siblings, even though you keep reminding me of the fact that I'm the shortest now. Wish you guys would stop holding that over my head (get it?).
Of course, the after-grad celebration (which was actually belated, because we wanted to hold it at the same time as Kuya Kean's birthday party):
My cousin Nikki and I got adorable matching speaker alarm clocks as our graduation present from the Landoy family!
And Rap was there! OMG! (Note: this party happened some days after graduation, so don't worry; we both spent our graduation dinners with our respective families).
Yup. Fun night. :D
Next post: Singapore!
Congrats, dear! We're so proud of you!
