coffee
Lesson learned: drinking coffee the night before a 7:30 exam = bad idea. I can't sleep na hinuon. Yeah. Little bits of Bisaya have been finding their way into my conversations lately. "It's like this man gud." Maybe it's because I've been thinking so much in Bisaya ever since I wrote my paper about language last Saturday.
You heard me. I actually did some work over the weekend, because I knew I wouldn't have time to write during finals week. Hooray for productivity, right? :)
WRONG. The deadline got moved to AFTER the finals. :| Ohhhhh as flies to wanton boys we are to the Gods of Deadline!
Right. Anyway. Chem exam is later, 7:30 AM. That's six hours from now, but the caffeine in my system refuses to let me rest. So here I am, online. (MY BRAIN IS FULLY SATURATED I CAN'T LEARN ANY MORE CHEMISTRY)
. . .
I can't believe I'm going home this weekend. I haven't been home in two months! I do know other people have it worse (my friend's not going home until sem break of next school year! Great scott!). Still, I can't help but look forward to the hour-long plane ride. I am so exciteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed
. . .
(That's Daryll, Jason, and Gerard, bidding Math a sad farewell. (This video made my day, even though it's only 1:10. (Hey, now it's 1:11! Make a wish!)))
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh incoherent post incoherent post incoherent post
. . .
Wait, TODAY'S MY LAST DAY AS A FRESHMAN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MAN OH MAN I AM GOING TO MISS FRESHMAN YEAR SO MUCH
You know how upperclassmen are always telling you to treasure your freshmanhood, because college life doesn't get any more relaxed? Well I really have loved every single bit of my year, even though many portions of it saw me in typing away at a blog post in a caffeine-induced state of consciousness. (I hope I didn't misspell any of that, because I am losing my sanity. My grammar is soon to follow.)
I thank God for every single person that has come into my life this past year, and I ask Him to bless all of them. That includes you, if you're reading this, because just knowing that people actually visit this site and are actually interested in whatever nonsense I am capable of spewing - I am amazed and inspired. Thank you so much. :)
Now wipe that tear out of your eye and let's get some sleep, shall we. I think the coffee's getting tired too.
(Just in case you were wondering, it's Nescafe iced coffee. Very effective. (Now pay up, Nestle. (Nested parentheses are cool eh.)))
