      As I type this, a million S. aureus are probably finding their way to my bed (where I am currently lying) from my uniform (which I wore to the lab because I forgot to bring scrubs). Whatever. I'll just overdose myself with Vitamin C later and hope the bacteria leave me alone. Right now I just really need to clear my mind.     Something big just happened. An article I co-wrote with my friends Zaldy and Mina just got published on Rappler !      Well okay, to be more precise, it got published on the community-sourced Move.PH section of Rappler.       This week was wonderful partly because it was punctuated with two holidays. You know how, when you're driving in the middle of a crazy downpour and the rain is just so noisy on the roof of your car that you can barely hear yourself think, when you go into a tunnel everything just becomes so suddenly still and quiet? And when you drive out the end of the tunnel, the rain comes crashing down again on your roof. Those two days were like being in the tunnel: sudden, temporary, silence.       And thank God that there isn't an exam to study for on Monday, because now I can spend my weekend gathering my bearings instead of scrambling to memorize names of enzymes and co-enzymes.        Not that the workload this week has been particularly hectic.         Sorry about not writing as much. I haven't been updating the Folio either, even though Cheryl, Jeth, and Sir Unsay have been doing wonderful, wonderful things on the site. Anyway. Friday-Sunday         I had a formation seminar (formsem) with the Loyola Film Circle (who shall henceforth be referred to as LFC)! Wooooo! We went to a resort in Calamba, Laguna. We talked about the org and I made new friends. Woo. It was a lot of fun. :) Buko tarts are awesome by the way. Monday        I went with some of the LFC team to shoot for the OrSem film. I was a personal assistant, which meant I basically just had to wipe sweat off the actors' faces in between takes. Also, I was in charge of handing the actors the clothes that they needed for that particular take. Oh, and I had to make sure everyone had food and water.      It was such an awesome experience. Last Friday was my high school classmate Jenica's eighteenth birthday! She's the first person in our class to ever have a debut. You can imagine how sad it was for Jason, Karen, Michael, Joseph and I to have to miss out on the celebration because of class (and expensive plane tickets), so we shot a video for her as a surprise to make up for it. Yeah, it's that "friend's video" I've been talking about in my previous posts. Badly edited by yours truly. They played it during her actual party, and from what I hear, she was really touched. Mission accomplished. :) (Edit: Behold my discomfort at having a camera aimed at my head.)

Lightbulb moment. Those "light images" I talked about in my previous post? THEY HAVE AN ACTUAL PURPOSE! I am truly sorry, NVM Gonzales, for having thought that they were just there to prettify your narrative. Oh, how wrong I was.
