chillness

It's 8:49 AM according to the laptop's clock, and I'm whiling away the time on the Internet until it's 9:30, when I'll leave the dorm to pick up a box of donuts at Cello's, and then take a taxi to the airport, and then take a plane back home. <3

I'm glad I'm spending the weekend home, even if it is just for two days. It's been a long week for me...

Wait, come to think of it, my week hasn't been that stressful, actually. Hell Week's over. These past five days have just been about regular classes and ordinary homeworks. There was that one long test in Chemistry. But aside from that, things have been pretty chill.

Like last Thursday, when we had a free cut for Chem! Oh man, that was the best I had felt all week. We were all jumping and shouting and poking each other's ribs when we found out our teacher wasn't coming. (We went to McDonald's afterwards to celebrate with burgers and ice cream!)

And yesterday was no sweat! We didn't do much for English and Literature. All we had was a library tour, a bit of discussion, and that's about it. Also, P.E. was surprisingly relaxing. Tai Chi under Mr. Olives usually isn't, what with all the squatting for five minutes.

The rest of Friday I spent at...

  • Manang's, hanging out with The Block after P.E.
  • the Rizal Library with Cheryl, doing some work for our research paper
  • the LS Bookstore, buying presents for friends and family in Cagayan! :D
  • Kostka 30-something, watching Rap's debate
  • the Covered Courts, attending Lipad, the scholar's partay! <:-P   <--- party smiley
Back tracking to the LS Bookstore part of my day. The MVP Basement was so full of artists that day. There were people rehearsing for a play, others, for a dance, and then there were various circles of students playing musical instruments. The vibe in that room was just so inspiring and creative. Like you could totally picture a dimly lit cafe', with some guy clad in a black turtleneck reciting a poem on stage, complete with the sound of bongo drums beating in the background.

Totally Amercanized, I know. But just saying :)

Gotta go now. Cagayan de Oro awaits :)
