the shallowest post ever

My family and I didn't have anything better to do last night after dinner than drive around the city. There was no power at home, and no power meant no aircon, and no aircon meant no us. :)

So we hit the Night Cafe' for a while (and I even got this cool new pair of purple Chucks! Oh yeah. Manila here I come!) and after that, we were left with nothing to do.

Driving home, we passed by this political rally in front of the Provincial Capitol. It was mayoral candidate Klarex Uy's. Out of boredom, we decided to check it out.

And here comes the good part! Gibo was there! Gilbert Teodoro! I was NOT expecting that. He was up on stage, introducing his party members to everyone, and people were cheering him on as Klarex Uy's jingle blared from the speakers.

(yeah, this picture sucks, I know, but that's the best my phone's camera could muster.)

And here comes the better part! As Gibo and his partymates take a bow, one of his campaign managers goes to the front of the stage and starts tossing ballers to everyone! (I don't have a picture for that. I was too occupied with trying to catch a baller.)

And here comes the sad part: I will never know whether those ballers were Klarex Uy ballers or Gibo ballers, because I never got one :'(

Hahahahaha. Just kidding. I'm voting for Noynoy! (as if I'm old enough to vote) Anyway, we didn't walk out of that rally empty-handed. We came home (to the sweet sound of the aircon humming) with a lot of pictures of ME in front of the memorial statue in the Provincial Capitol grounds, and with a valuable lesson in mind:

Whenever a politician comes to town, stand closer to the front of the stage.

So. Pictures of me, valuable lesson - Yeah, all in all, it was one awesome night. Oh, and don't forget my awesome purple Chucks. Hahahaha :3

(My siblings and I after Gibo's rally - wearing Mar Roxas ballers and flashing the Laban sign under the cover of darkness.)
