Noynoy's Rally, Cagayan de Oro City
Anyway, when we got there, the place was packed - it was a sea of people surrounding the kiosk, and there were even more people behind the kiosk, and even more people behind the people! (If I'm not making sense, that's because I haven't had breakfast yet.)
We settled with this comfy little spot in the crowd. It was comfy enough that we could see both the speaker and the image of the speaker projected onto this white screen.
Ralph Recto was the speaker when we got there. I must take time to mention his ballers, which I found quite amusing because not only do they say "I ♥ Ralph Recto,” but they also say “I ♥ Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto.” Hahahaha. That's Pinoy campaigning tactics for you!
I regret not coming early enough to catch Risa Hontiveros's speech though. She is such an inspiration!
Anyway, I'll let the blurry pictures speak for themselves, since I am at a loss for words right now.
This was such a great opportunity for me. Seeing the future president of the Philippines in person - wow!
Noynoy is one person who gives me hope. Hope for our country, and that Noynoy's victory in the elections will be that first step we take towards ending corruption... I'm confident that one day, the Philippines will be as rich as, or even richer than, the United States of America.
Padayon, Pilipinas :D
