bored in HR
Edit: I accidentally posted this in another blog on July 31, 2015
Thanks to the wonders of technology, I am now blogging in Human Resources class! I know I'm a horrible person for not paying attention but hellooooo it's a lovely Saturday morning, and who wants to study on a Saturday morning???
Yesterday (and the past few days, actually) was filled with activities. My sister Caitlin arrived in Manila on Tuesday, so I've been spending my after-school time hanging out with her and Dad. It's gonna be so different having her around.
Yesterday we went plant shopping at QC Circle. We wanted to visit the memorial as well but we found out it was closed for renovations until August 19. So we spent the entire time (as in FOUR HOURS) just looking at plants! There were SO MANY!!! I found a fuzzy indoor plant to keep in my condo, while Cait found herself a rose cactus for her condo. Dad bought a millenium flower plant for home. And I bought him a Miracle Fruit seedling! Miracle Fruits are berries that turn sour things sweet!
Man I wish I had a plot of soil. I wanna hoard (wtf I spelled this as "horde") so many plants and smother them with so much loooove.
Ma'am Dada got us pizza today! Yay!
Today's our last Human Resources class for our MBA. I think. I really learned a lot. Now I can totaling see the importance of being a doctor-manager and not just a doctor.
My article for Pen and Ink got published two days ago. I'm a published writer now! Holy crap!
Ok class is ending, hooray. Gonna rush back to the condo and feed my sister.
